Our recent budget edition newsletter contained information in relation to the new superannuation data standards and announced commencement timelines.
The Australian Taxation Office has now extended the commencement date for the introduction of these standards.
The standards NOW apply to employers with 20 or more employees from 1 July 2015 and to employers with less than 20 employees from 1 July 2016.
Although employers with 20 or more employees can choose to start using SuperStream as of 1 July 2014 and employers with less than 20 employees can start from 1 July 2015.
