The Small Business Superannuation Clearing House is moving …….

At the end of February 2018 the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) will no longer be available as its services will be transitioned to the ATO online services.

During the transition in systems, there will be no access to the Superannuation Clearing House between 20th February and 25th February 2018. Superannuation contributions on the old SBSCH must be completed prior to 3pm on Monday 19th February 2018.

The ATO has issued a number of communications advising employers of the coming changes and the necessary steps to take in preparation.

If you use the Clearing House and do not have an authentication credential for the ATO (ie Auskey or access to myGov) it will be necessary to obtain one or explore alternatives via your Superannuation Fund or payroll software provider.

All employee and historical payment information will be transferred from the SBSCH to the ATO online services.

The ATO is running webinars during February to assist with the transition process. For further details use the link below to the ATO Small Business Newsroom or alternatively contact Toni Brunsgard of our office on 9387 5637 for details on how this change will impact your business.
